Q: Frank Williams’ racing achievements are well documented, but in which sport did he excel at school?

Kazuki Nakajima: I know that he did enjoy running in marathons but I don’t know if he took part in them when he was at school.

Incorrect - Williams actually excelled at rugby and represented the Scottish Schoolboy U15s.

Six teams to attend Goodwood Festival of Speed

There may not be a Grand Prix this weekend, but don’t be fooled - the majority of Formula One teams will still be in action at the UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. Brawn, McLaren, Ferrari, Williams, Toyota and Red Bull are all scheduled to attend the annual three-day celebration of motorsport, which gets under way on Friday.

這週末或許沒有比賽，但是別誤會了，因為多數的F1車隊將參加英國的Goodwood 速度慶典。Brawn, McLaren, Ferrari, Williams, Toyota 和 Red Bull 將會參加週五開始、一年一次為期三天的活動。

Goodwood regular and reigning world champion, Lewis Hamilton, will be one of the many drivers in attendance. As well as wowing his fans with a demonstration of his title-winning MP4-23, Hamilton will also be making his way up the famous 1.16-mile hill climb in Ayrton Senna’s 1988 MP4-4 turbo.

“Whenever I go to the McLaren Technology Centre, there are two cars that I love the most - the first is the McLaren F1 that I've set my heart on winning and the second is Ayrton's MP4-4,” the British driver said. “Even today, it still looks like the car to be racing! About a month ago, I went down and sat in the car while the guys were preparing it for Goodwood. It is going to be a pretty cool moment!”

Other current Formula One drivers expected to attend include Brawn GP’s Jenson Button, Red Bull’s Mark Webber and Toyota’s Timo Glock. A host of famous names from motor racing’s past feature in the line-up too, including Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, David Coulthard, Dan Gurney, Damon Hill, Jacky Ickx, John Surtees and Takuma Sato.

The Festival of Speed’s programme will also pay tribute to Sir Frank Williams, who is celebrating his 40th year in Formula One racing this season. In addition to an appearance by the great man himself, 13 Williams cars will be on show over the course of the weekend, including the 1970 De Tomaso-Cosworth Tipo 505, Keke Rosberg's 1982 FW08 and the 1996 Williams-Renault FW18.

The GP history of Laguna Seca

After a ten year absence MotoGP returned to the United States and Laguna Seca in 2005 and has since hosted some superb racing. However, before that break in American GPs Laguna Seca had already featured six times on the World Championship calendar.

In fact, the first two Grand Prix events to be held in the USA were at Daytona in 1964 and 1965. Following those two events there was a 22 year gap before Grand Prix racing returned to the US, at Laguna in 1988.

This year’s event will be the eleventh time that a Grand Prix race has taken place at the Laguna Seca circuit and below is a brief summary of the previous ten World Championship visits:

1988 – This included races for the 500cc and 250cc classes with American riders finishing on the top of the podium in both races – Eddie Lawson (Yamaha) in the 500cc race and Jim Filice in the 250cc race riding as a replacement for Masahiro Shimizu on the factory Honda.

Loris Capirossi (Honda) won the 250cc race and Dirk Raudies (Honda) won in the 125cc class which was run for the first time at the Laguna circuit.

終於又有電腦了

　　這次終於真的是有電腦可以用了，PIII 850的老筆電終於壽終正寢，算一算自端午節後就很少碰電腦了，真是心酸。

　　最近打工又有一些人要畢業了，來綠光打工真是讓我看了不少，大家也都是很好的人，可惜天下無不散的筵席。最近這兩個禮拜也吃了好幾攤、唱了好幾攤，真是要說賺的錢不是錢，存的錢才是錢阿= ="。

　　上禮拜和蛋頭、蔡帥、老雷、大山和王致成總共六個人吃飯，在中壢的龐德羅莎，如果只吃沙拉吧感覺還ＯＫ，因為主餐雖然不錯，不過加上去感覺就太貴了，感覺不划算了。還有去台北吃閃光彈連擊...，Cola 休假回本島，既然要去台北國，我也要硬擠出時間去吃個飯囉，來桃園這麼久也終於和團長聚一聚囉，吃的咖哩飯感覺還不賴，只是下次就不點附餐了，不太合口味，咖哩醬也要點更辣一點。

　　另外去Motel唱歌也是一個新鮮的經驗，旅館業真是競爭，裡面的設備真的是不錯，七十坪的場地，有按摩浴缸、SPA、大電視、溫泉浴缸、客廳、寢室、三溫暖，可惜的是歌不夠新，唱起來不盡興，不過意外發現原來有個工讀生超會唱歌的阿，參加過選秀比賽，就這樣在沙發上坐一晚聽歌。其實當晚去那裡唱歌，順便還可以看戲，真是受不了精蟲上腦的人阿，看的我自己都很想笑。

　　接下來又去台北吃個鍋，蔡帥、團長和老雷，四個人吃個鍋，大家聊一聊真是開心，還順便跟團長A個PSP，以後再跟他"買"，呵呵呵。

　　禮拜一去面交筆電，宏碁法拉利4000型，記憶體加到兩Ｇ，用起來感覺還不錯，輸出端子也完整，以後這台就住我家客廳吧，當多媒體Player，嘿嘿嘿。

　　禮拜二就是跟綠光要離職的幾位還有以後繼續努力的大家一起唱歌，這次又喝了點酒，不太舒服，啤酒這苦的東西怎麼這麼愛喝勒= =，喝完去同事家躺著休息，起來又跟離職同事聊到天亮，接著就回來上課，只能說不是休假嗎？我好像都沒有休息的感覺阿阿阿阿阿阿。

暫時修好筆電了

　　過完端午回桃園後，拿出五天沒開機的筆電，居然掛點了...，到現在暫時修好了，再使用看看吧。 打工方面遇到人事地震，主管階和許多工讀生都離開了，現在都是新人，做事很悶阿，提不起勁。

　　前幾天再去跟他們一起慶生，跟之中一位年紀相仿的前幹部再聊一聊，因為大家同年紀，所以對於未來總是有期許和一些想法，跟我聊到他現在的工作，聽起來真是很不錯，他也說只要順利就邀我過去幫忙，只是餐飲是我沒有接觸的領域，對於吃我也沒有很多想法，如果真的有機會進去，還要再多考慮一下。
